In Sintesi
An activity generates more than 10.000 tweets, that become an e-book: “Gli Italiani chiedono – Il Confronto SkyTG24″

IAKI returns to politics and social influence by actively managing the Facebook and Twitter pages of Sky TG24 during the electoral campaign, collaborating on the creation of an e-book. After supporting the channel during the debate for the centre-left primaries, the activity on Twitter continued with more live-tweeting, and focused on the debate and the questions that the Italians would like to ask the candidates of the 2013 general election.

From January 21 to February 4, the hashtag #ilConfrontoSKYTG24 was the tool with which people on Twitter communicated to SKY TG24 what they would want to ask the political leaders involved in the upcoming elections. The operation generated over 10,000 tweets, which have become an e-book, “Gli Italiani chiedono – Il Confronto SkyTG24″ (“Italians ask – the SkyTG24 Debate”), produced in 3 versions (PDF, EPUB, MOBI), and that in these days are being delivered into the hands of the political leaders. The questions have been organised based on the most frequent topics: school; work; political costs; taxes; justice; renewable energy, the relaunch of the economy; the family; and health. It offers an interesting insight into the reflections and doubts of internauts, revealed to be much more varied than what one might think.
